6 years later...

On my long list of to-dos, I find myself pushing “scrapbooking” further and further down the line. It is something I really enjoyed when the kids were a lot younger because I could get together with friends and make moms-night-out out of the hobby or I could shut my door and just have me-time that allowed me to be creative. These days, with school aged children and MANY after school sports and activities, I have found that my day has flipped and now my free time is found through bits and pieces of the day wherever I can grab it. Dragging out a bunch of craft supplies to get started on a project is less likely to happen. Enter blog land. A blog can definitely act like an online scrapbook of sorts. So in order to chronicle the days of our lives and for my kids to have something they can look back on when they want to recall the days of their childhood, I would like to recommit to writing in both words and pictures for them.

So 6 years after starting this blog, I find myself home again during the day after completing my teaching degree and teaching 7th grade English for three years.. and I find myself wondering where the past 6 years have gone. I now have a high schooler, middle schooler and my "baby" will reach double digits in less than 6  months. Everything they say is true. Don't blink my friends.
