Thursday musings...

Thursday is my day of the week when I often want to throw in the towel. All three kids have activities (well Band is hit or miss on Thursdays) and at least one to two Thursdays per month Rob has meetings so I am left to figure out how to be in at least two places at once, some weeks three. It can be downright maddening. #passthewine

Tonight, I got a bit of a reprieve. No weeknight meeting for Rob, and Colton is carpooling to soccer! So I just poured a glass of wine. #yesplease I am trying out a basic instant pot mac and cheese, steaming some broccoli and heating up some smoked sausage and calling it a day. Certainly not my favorite meal but a kid pleaser.

Today I bought the supplies to end cap my bottom bank of cabinets in beadboard. We had our cabinets painted two summers ago but they are already peeling on the ends. The doors and drawers and cabinet fronts seem to be fine but not the ends for some reason!! I am excited to get this project started and will be sure to post before and afters!

What I am looking forward to... first football game of the season tomorrow night. It's going to be so, so hot and it's away... the other side of downtown Dallas away so it will be a haul to get there on a Friday in rush hour holiday traffic. Wish us luck!
